Xd Cards..olympus Stylus 170…..unerasable Pics??
Filed in Deskjet Help Forums on ก.พ..13, 2010
i am going to write this straight out because of space
-no pictures on camera
-when i put xd card in hp photosmart (3210) printer there are pics from months ago
-i cannot delete them from anywhere.
-when the hp photosmart transfer says that the date might be wrong on my camera it lets me change them
-but then they go right back and continue to upload the same old pictures everytime i upload any thing.
Is there a way that i can access them and delete them??

yes . it’s only one mode to have access in card memory(xd card in your case) : put the xd card in multi-card reader and your pc recognize all files . your digital camera don’t recognize other files like printer files or other digital camera ,camcorders, film camera …. .if you not have an multi -reader card ask a friend or go to the electronic shop and try to delete all files on this card. just good luck !

You can reformat the card.
I have used Canon, Sony and Casio and they all have a format option on the camera. It will erase everything that is stored on the card.
Another way is when you view the pictures on the camera, there should be an option for you to delete the picture.
Also, I am not familiar with the XD card, with SD cards there is a switch on the card that prevents it from overwritten and erased.

My card has a little gray colored lock on it I guess it could be locked not letting you erase those exact pics ????? Its toward the front of the card.
