Why Won’t My Laptop Locate My Hp Photosmart C7200?

I’ve done everything I was suppose to. I just can’t get my printer and computer to locate each other. I’m using wireless, has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Check the IP address. It’s probably not configured correctly. The have to be set to the same network.
Ex.
Router 192.168.1.1
PC 192.168.1.100
Printer 192.168.1.101
Check your manual or go onto HP’s website for support.

select your printer model, download the latest printer software/driver for your operating system.
if more than 1 computer is using printer, make sure printer is shared and give it a unique share name (this will make it easier to find the printer later)
click start, click printers and faxes, click add printer, follow instructions from there (browse for the printer). when prompted for printer driver, load the latest printer driver downloaded from above. continue and with add printer wizard. when done, test print.
