why isnt my hp deskjet f4180 printing it just keeps popping up align the ink cartridge and it wont print the paper needed

I don’t know if you just replaced the ink cartridge. Normally, this message appears after a new cartridge is inserted and you were in the mid of a print job and it run out. You need to align the print cartridges so that your printer will know that there are new cartridges installed and that it won’t keep asking you to align it since alignment is a one time thing.
Remove the ink cartridge, Turn off the printer. Unplug the usb that connects it to the computer. Remove the power cord as well. Press the on button for 30 sec to drain power out. Plug power cord back in. Turn on printer. Wait until it asks for the ink cartridges then insert it. Alignment process will be happening at this time. If alignment fails, then that could be the reason why it keeps asking you to align it.
