Why Does My Hp Deskjet D2560 Says There Is Paper Jam But There Isn’t?
Filed in Deskjet Help Forums on ต.ค..10, 2009
My sister was about to print her assignment for school, but the printer won’t work!
It kept on repeating its error of paper jam but there isn’t any paper jam!
I’m sick and tired of doing anything just to make it work and I’m tempted to whack it with my arm!!!
Please answer!!!

Just llok at the back of the printer to make sure their is no corner piece of paper stuck in one of the corners.
Always remove paper from the back and not from the front of the printer. YOu open the back door and it can be easily removed if you need to in the future. Open and close the front top. Make sure that their is no paper stuck in-between rollers.
Note that you can damage the paper if you remove jammed paper from the front.

there is either dust in a paper path sensor . or a sensor flag has come out of position.
if it is dust.. you should be able to locate the sensor and blow it out with some compressed air.
if it is a sensor flag… take it in for repair, unless you mechanically savy enough to put it back together.
worse case scenario is a sensor is actually bad or a controller board is bad…. this happens not so often.
