Where Did My Printer Go?

installed a wireless hp photosmart with my hp laptop…it said it was installed. Next day I go to print, and the printer is not showing up as an installed printer…shows I have no printer installed at all. The photosmart software 2.1 is still on the computer. What should I do now… I’ve installed the cd twice and this has happened both times,

just go to printers and faxes ten at the right side click add printer and just follow instruction…it will do the rest you dont need to install it on cd coz the driver is already there… hope you’ve got it..

Uninstall the printer driver (s)
Install the driver and then switch on power to the printer.
Windows will detect new hardware and search for the driver.
All done.
Most problems come from having the printer switched on when booting up before the driver is installed.

Install new printer. Do it from the control panel now.
