What’s Wrong With My Printer Connection?

I’ve got an HP Photosmart All-in-One printer. My computer says that it’s connected to the printer. But the printer says the “USB is not connected”. That’s a lie. I’ve got the USB plugged into both the computer and the printer. Ugh! What’s wrong?

Check the printer and make sure ethernet/wireless is disabled. I read some place that it can not do both ethernet/wireless and USB. That might be your issue.
