What Other Compatible Hp Product To Use When Hp Deskjet D4160 Is Not On The List When Setting Up Printer?

Never a very good idea to go compatible, when you can go exact.
Your driver is at http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw… then RUN it, and it should install it for you.

Should go to the hp site and under support/downloads/drivers (something like that) get the exact driver you require. Either their download will add that printer to the list you are referring to, or it will install the printer from beginning to end.

If the printer is not on the list you need to install the proper drivers for the printer. The printer should have come with the drivers on a CD or you can download the proper drivers at http://support.hp.com

just try to download the correct drivers from hp’s website
