HPs tend to mess up if they’re not installed exactly right. Unplug the printer’s USB cable and use add/remove programs to uninstall the printer drivers. Then follow the instructions exactly to reinstall the printer. If you plug it in at the wrong time during install it will mess up again.

then go to search and put in real chat and someone will help you A REAL LIVE person and it is totally free and they will go step by step in helping you to fix the problems. I USED it a lot to help me with my printer when i could not figure out what to do.

Do you mean that Windows is having trouble automatically installing a driver for your printer? If so, you should point the installer to the CD that came with your printer rather than letting it try to find the driver automatically.
