This Is My First One…im Not That Good…?
by admin on ก.พ..06, 2010, under Deskjet Help Forums
I was given a hp photosmart c3180 printer. This is my first one and besides having difficulty in setting it up I dont know what kind of ink and paper it needs. What kind of ink and paper does it need? How much does each coast and does it last awhile? Is there any website that I can find a manual so i can figure out how to use it? I was not given this stuff.

Colinc gives good advice. HP web site will tell you what ink to get, and then go to http://www.pricegrabber.com and find it cheap. When ordering ink online, make certain that you get HP ink original cartridges, not refilled cartridges, which I have had nothing but problems with. Just check out the website you order from and see if the item is in an HP box. If ordering from a pricegrabber storefront (usually no picture), just make sure that it says original HP product or something similar.
HP web site will also try to convince you to use their (expensive) paper. Decide what you are planning on using the printer for - photos or regular printing - and then get some higher-quality store-brand paper at an office superstore like OfficeDepot or OfficeMax.
If you’re planning on no color printing, don’t bother getting a color cartridge. You should be able to set up the printer to print everything in B&W. If you *are* planning on color printing, be prepared for expensive ink costs. Color ink cartridges usually last 1/3 as long as black cartridges.
I hope this helps.

The cartridges to use would be;
For black either HP 92(S$21)
For color, either HP 93 (S$26)/95(S$33)
For photo color, it will be HP 99(S$37)
You can feed it with the usual type of paper available in stationary shops or anywhere.
Check out my website at http://www.inkrefillservice.com for my printer cartridges ink refill service or email us at enquiries@inkrefillservice.com if you require further assistant. We would to glad to be of assistance to you.
(Prices stated may varies, and would usually be higher when you are looking at pices on the OEM website.)

I’d throw it away because the hp ink, nomatter where you buy it will keep costing you a fortune. Better to buy a cheap epson, so you can find cheap ink on ebay.
