HP Deskjet printer buying guide

Unboxing my HP Deskjet 3050 all-in-one printer. I purchased this at Wal-Mart for . My favorite feature of this printer is its wireless printing. This printer is compatible with all operating systems, including Mac Lion. Setup is very quick and easy.

This is my printer that i bought on July 18, 2010. And Its a good printer after using it for a while. And the print quality is pretty nice. Its a 3-in-1 printer so it has Copy, Print, Scan. You can choose from Black or Color for Scan or Copy. There is a driver listed on the Hp website for vista. go to hp.com click software and driver support. type in your product and then select vista driver.

I have windows vista on my Acer Extensa 5420, and I have a HP Photosmart C4280 printer with a C4200 #6 scanner.
I have about 200 pages to scan, and it takes really long to scan each page. I need to scan each one as fast as possible. I am trying to edit the settings but the vista settings make it very tedious and annoying to modify the speed.
I know when I had this printer/scanner hooked up to an old dell with windows XP I could change it where the scanner scans the image in black and white and it came out so much faster.

i have a new hp deskjet f4140 all-in-one printer that i can not get to install onto my computer no matter what i do. i contacted the hp help and they told me that the disc that came with the printer was not compatitable with windows vista so they sent me another disc and it still will not install. does anyone know why this is happening? i know windows vista is new, but nothing will install. this is a new computer too. can anyone help me? thank you
