HP Deskjet printer buying guide

it says the driver downloaded and installed but I cannot find it and I couldn’t install it manually when I tried. What am I doing wrong. Haven’t used this printer on my laptop before so I cannot even do a system restore

Tried to put it back online from the disc but it does not work. Help somebody.

Try reseting the printer. Do the following:
1. Verify that the unit is switched on. Unplug the all-in-one from power and disconnect the connection port.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Plug in the power only.
4. Repeat steps 2-4 two more times.
5. On the third time after plugging the unit into power, reconnect the connection port from the all-in-one to your computer.
Then reset the printer to the factory settings
1. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on.
2. Press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.
This should reset everything and get you back up and running.

pictures into my wireless hp computer to windows photo place and also the picture gallery but I go to find these pictures ,they are no where to be found. I had a hp ki80 all-in -one printer before and it was great. I had to buy the C5180 ALL-IN-ONE BECAUSE MY COMPUTER IS WIRELESS. What about the HP site didn’t work? They have Windows Vista drivers for that model on their site.
