Where Can I Get The Software To Save Pics Onto Computer For Hp Photosmart?

Ok, so i have a memory card from my digital camera, and i’d like to save it through the printer but it says i require a software - program in order to save it, does anyone know where i can find it? much appreciated.
PS. i want to save it thru printer because my camera dropped in water, and no longer works… -__________-

problems started when windows suddenly stopped working while i was updating the hp software update they’d sent. i couldnt click on ‘hp solutions centre’ (on my desktop menu) it said no devices detected. i reinstalled and ‘hp solutions centre’ returned however when i went to print photos in ‘hp photosmart essential’ (on desktop menu) it wouldn’t allow me and showed a ’save the file as’ box instead.
