When you scan the document in, make sure you are using the HP Solution center software. OPen it, scan and then, you will have the option to save. You need to use that software tht was installed for it or Adobe Photoshop.

my scanner is an HP Photosmart 2710 All-In-One printer, fax, scanner, and copier.
When i insert my 2gig memory stick in the port, it says “Only a PictBridge-capable device in PictBridge mode is supported. Diconnect device.” how come this is happening? how can i fix this?
by the way, the only info on my memory stick or brand says “PNY” and has the word “Attache” on it.

I have a lot of old slide pictures for use with a projector but would like to have these small pictures on my laptop. Can I scan and save them from an HP printer/photosmart/scanner?
