I have a HP photosmart C4380 printer scanner, I have a 3 pin power cord plus a specialized HP power plug that fits into the back of it. I have just plugged it in, the light on the power cord is on, but when I press the power button on the printer it won’t switch on, is there a way to get it on?
i got this printer, and its photosmart hp c4400 and i love it, but i want to know how to scan pictures onto my computer. when i hit scan, it asks if i want it scanned to print or scanned to computer, i hit computer, and it doesnt work. it doesnt even sound like the scanner is starting up. how do i do this?
Ok, so I’ve had this new HP photosmart printer/scanner for about a month (model C6250), and it’s been working fine. But for some reason now, when I press the scan button, instead of it giving the list of options such as “scan to microsoft word” or “save scan” where it brings you to a window where you can edit the photo, it only gives the options “scan and reprint” and “scan to memory card”. So, now, I’m trying to finish this project, but I need to scan these pictures and I’m like “QUE-CE Q’EST???” so somebody PLLEEEEAAASSE help me!!!
I have an HP Photosmart Printer/Scanner & the printer works just fine, but the scanner keeps saying the USB isn’t connected, but it is! & it’s making me really mad. I tried to go and test the scanner, but it said the scanner has passed the test.
The USB is plugged into the back of the printer, and one to the back of the computer(not the monitor).
& everything looks just fine to me.
Any idea’s on how to get the scanner working again? I’m only 12 so I know like, nothing about all this stuff.

I have a HP photosmart C4385 All-in-one printer/scanner and want to scan some 120 and 35mm photo negatives. If I scan them regularly and convert it to negative in photoshop the colors are way off. I know there must be an option for negatives someone on the scanner but can’t find it.
