Connecting Wireless Printer To Laptop?
by admin on ก.พ..15, 2010, under Deskjet Help Forums
I have a Dell Inspiron 1525. Today I purchased a HP Photosmart C5580, and it included a HP bt500 Bluetooth USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter. Yes, my laptop is compatible with bluetooth.
The problem is that my laptop won’t pick up my adapter. Well, it will, but it won’t say it’s there under “Bluetooth Devices” which I get to from the control panel. (My operating system is Vista.) I have read all the manuals thoroughly, and many websites. My printer WILL work if I use a USB cable to connect my laptop to the printer, but it says it will work wirelessly! I have set Bluetooth Devices to discoverable, and I know the “device address”, whatever that is.
I need help! Thanks so much!
