Can’t Install Printer Onto Windows Vista?

i have a new hp deskjet f4140 all-in-one printer that i can not get to install onto my computer no matter what i do. i contacted the hp help and they told me that the disc that came with the printer was not compatitable with windows vista so they sent me another disc and it still will not install. does anyone know why this is happening? i know windows vista is new, but nothing will install. this is a new computer too. can anyone help me? thank you

I just printed some documents to an HP Photosmart C6280 printer from my laptop which is running windows vista. Now, I am unable to print a document for some unknown reason. I did not change anything.

When you scan the document in, make sure you are using the HP Solution center software. OPen it, scan and then, you will have the option to save. You need to use that software tht was installed for it or Adobe Photoshop.

I have an HP printer and scanner that lets me scan pictures and papers to my PC, but i think i erased the application that lets me scan to my PC. Does anyone know what i erased. I think its HP Photosmart Essenital 2.0, not sure.
