HP Deskjet printer buying guide

Is there any way i can install this printer without the installation disk it provides?

The voltages are ok i,ve checked for paper jam tried a hard boot etc but didn,t help. was wondering if anyone else as had this problem and is there a guick fix, Nothing on the printer monitor either thanks

I put a stack of about 5-7 4×6 photo paper in the photo tray, and when it goes to print, it says the printer is out of paper. I can hear something turning inside the printer, but nothing seems to be happening. Anyone have any suggestions? I called hp support and they wanna charge me up the wazoo for help…**** that!

. I would think that HP has a Printed Wire Board.
Ah , you know you can get the Whole machine for $40 on ebay? It looks like they have a few starting at $25 that you could tear the board out of?
Or call your local electronics repair shop. They can probably order one at retail.

I received an A617 hp photosmart for Xmas and since I already have an hp photosmart 7960 I was wondering if the A617 produces better prints since it is a newer model and soley for photo’s.
