The first time it didn’t list Vista as a operating system it can be installed on,then I tried again and it says the following reasons were preventing intalation and listed like 4 diff things,is there some update that it didn’t pick up or something I can do to get it on here?I don’t wanna buy another printer this is so irritating….thanks for any help

The flashing light comes on when you are printing a document and you run out of paper for one thing. Their should be a retry button on the screen. Put in paper and click retry. Hp will what is in the queue.
If their is a paper jam, it may also light. Open the top or the back and close it again. If the light stays on, their may be a small piece of paper jammed in the rollers .
Even if you run out of ink, it should not light so we know this is not the issue.
