Question On Installation/error?

When I try to install my HP deskjet D1300 it gives me the error to switch users and get on the administrators.(the softwere can’t be installed using run as, it sais this also) I have checked and I am always in the right user to install programs. Our computer is new and there should be no problem. Please help kids have science fair projects due and reports!! Thanks!!

I guess this is some thing to do with the Privelages u;r windows have.Am not sure which computer u have.
Call the Computer Tech Department and tell them to Set Admin Privilages to U’r user account.Some times u may be the only user in the computer but u’r computer vendor will not set Admin Rights for U’r accounts.
Give It a Try and Then Start installing the software(Once started installation ,Choose “Minimal Installation”,Thats the best )

Try installing it while running the computer in safe mode. There is most likely another program that is not compatable with the printer. Running in safe mode runs your system in a minimal environment so all other compontents are out of the way. I’m not sure if installshield works in safe mode or not so this may not work, but it’s worth a try if you’re on a deadline.

If your computer is on network, Make sure you have local administrator rights. Then you will be able to install anything.
If computer is not on a network, make sure are not signed in as a guest.
