Problem With The Ink Of Hp Deskjet 920c?
Filed in Deskjet Help Forums on ก.พ..14, 2010
I just reloaded the cartiage with ink and put it back into position but my printer says that there is no ink. Reinstalation of the driver doesn’t work. The ink head looks normal – there is ink on it.

try cleaning the copper contact terminals on both the cartridge and in the printerwith vinegar.
Let it dry before reinstalling.
There may be ink but the tiny nozzles in the cartridge are plugged.
Use the cleaning utlity in the software of the printer. You may have to do a number of times.
Place the base of the cartridge ( where ink comes out) in 1/4 inch of hot boiling water to dissolve the grime blocking these nozzles.
You may have to do seveal times.
Dry before placing back in printer.

try dipping the part where they inject the ink in in lukewarm water. maybe it’s just clotting. that happend to me once.

don’t worry about it the printer knows it is not a new cartridge just a filled one [hp has a thingy in there that can tell its not a new cartridge] – just ignore the sign x it and go ahead and print should be okay – if the cartridge has been filled too many times or gone dry you may have a print problem –

Buy the name cartridges and save trouble. Inkjet cartridges are not too expensive. That is your problem.
