Printer Problems..i Deleted…will Pick Best Answer

I deleted the printer and printer driver from the “MY COMPUTER” folder. (I can’t remember why I would do something like that). I thought I had the disk to put it back on the computer but I think it’s lost. Its a HP Photosmart 4385 All in One. I went to the HP site to download a driver but it won’t let me finish installing it again without the disk. Help! Do I have to buy something all over again just to get the printer reinstalled on the computer?

with your printer connected head on over to the microsoft.com site and do an update — there may be a driver there for it.

First of all go to Control Panel > Add Hardware.
While your doing this you must have your printer connected!

The program detects hardware that requires drivers.

you should still be able to find it by going in to recycle bin on your desktop and when your there you shold see the printer icon then right click on the icon and choose restore and it should come back….hope it helps

If you just deleted it,but not uninstalled…go tohttp://www.recuva.com/download
then download the file…this will recover the files you have deleted..
