Printer Help Please 10 Points?

my hp photosmart 2575 printer wouldnt let me print from my laptop. the status of the document says ‘error’. there’s no paper jam and there’s enough ink. how do i fix it?

I know this sounds simple but sometimes it works. Simply shut down your computer and the printer for about 30 seconds to reset them.
If yes, I did have this happen to me one time. I went into systems, accessories, and cleaned up my disk. Then I did a defrag.
Why it worked, I can’t tell you but it did.

It could be the driver for your printer is not compatable with your OS
if this is so you will need to visit the HP web site and download the latest drivers
Click on start, then control panel then printers check for your hp printer make sure it is set as default right click on it and select properties then select print test page
Or try deleting it and select add printer and set it up again

At times HP you will get a glitch when using the printer software and you will need to uninstall and then reinstall
I recommend this procedure for that problem
Add/remove and remove all components for the printer
Now do a complete clean up with the HP level 4 driver removal utility tool
When done, reinstall the software
