Please Help! Frustrated ?

Its a hp deskjet F2210 all in one. I keeps saying there is a paper jame when there isnt. Its brand new. I went to hps site did everything they told me to and it just wont work. Please help or i am probley going to throw it out the window lol. Thanks

Assuming that the printer isn’t sending a wrong signal to the computer because of a circuit board problem (remember what they say about assuming things) you need to look at the internal workings.
There is a switch that is tripped when a piece of paper feeds in that indicates there is paper loaded. A little further in the papers path there is another switch which, when tripped, indicates that the paper is feeding properly.
These switches can be jammed with a scrap of paper (or paper dust in the case of optical switches, broken, or disconnected from the circuit board.
A good independent test is to have the printer turned off, then while depressing the paper feed button and holding it, turn the printer on. If all is well the printer will produce a self test. If this works, the printer is fine and the paper jam signal comes from a faulty circuit board, faulty cable or bad printer drivers.
