HP Deskjet printer buying guide

HPs tend to mess up if they’re not installed exactly right. Unplug the printer’s USB cable and use add/remove programs to uninstall the printer drivers. Then follow the instructions exactly to reinstall the printer. If you plug it in at the wrong time during install it will mess up again.

My printer works because when I ran a Test Print is worked. But when I try to print something from the computer it keeps saying Insert Card.

I replaced black cartridge on right side and installed photo cartridge, yet the orange resume light stays on and computer says improper cartridge.
