My Hp Photosmart C5280 All-in-one Wont Scan To Computer.?

When ever I hit scan to computer it just brings a popup saying hpscanning and just hangs and the printer does nothing, it also did this with another model of hp so its not the printer please help me. And also it doesnt even appear that the printer is even trying.

The “SCAN” button simply send s request to thePC to load the scan program then ask me to scan.
unplug printer from PC
UNINSTALL ALL software for it
REINSTALL ALL SOFTWARE only connecting the uSB lead when the software asks you to.
For more reliable scanning DO NOT use the scan button. I have one on my HP Scanner, but launch MY chouce of graphics program, or microsoft office scanning depending on my needs, and simy use the twain scanning controls

Try putting the document or picture in and then go to start all programs, accessories, scanners-printers and click on scan and select location my documents or my pictures. Be sure you set the photosmart C5280 as default for it to work.

i have a HP officejet 4110 all-in-one it did that for me as well. All i did was reinstall the software that came with it, adn if it didnt come with it or you cant find it then simply download from thier website.
