My Hp Photosmart 7960 Wont Feed The Paper….?
Filed in Deskjet Help Forums on พ.ย..15, 2009
I put a stack of about 5-7 4×6 photo paper in the photo tray, and when it goes to print, it says the printer is out of paper. I can hear something turning inside the printer, but nothing seems to be happening. Anyone have any suggestions? I called hp support and they wanna charge me up the wazoo for help…**** that!

Hi,
Do the following steps.
1. Remove both power and USB cable from both ends.
2. Turn the printer to the back side.
3. You may find a small plastic notch coming out of printer at the left side of the printer. Push it towards right and swing it. Its a rear access door. Just open it.
4. You can see a couple of rollers now. Clean the rollers using a swab. Close the door.
5. Connect the power cable.
6. Go to Menu–>Tools–> Print sample page in printer menu. Or try for a test print from computer.
If yes, Printer works fine.
If no, call HP tech support and upgrade ur printer for cheap price. 1-800-474-6836.

Try regular (thinner) paper to see if it’s mechanical.
Also make sure you have the printing properties set to the right “paper feed” setting.

make sure its all the way back and lined up, also try one piece, pushing as it tries to get the paper.
