My Hp Deskjet F4240 All In One Wont Scan?

When I click the scan button it just flashes and doesnt do anything. Im using windows vista and yeah everything is connected.

Yo….you need to go in the START menu and start the scanning software in the HP folder.
Then go in the FILE menu and select SCAN from there and it will work . You can’t operate the scan from the scanner itself. It ain’t gonna work
If you use Photoshop or other products, you have to select TWAIN as the main driver and then SCAN.
