HP Deskjet printer buying guide

My Hp Deskjet 3325 Won’t Work With Windows Vista Even It Has A Driver Installed!?

by admin on ก.ค..05, 2009, under Driver

I have a new computer with pre-installed Windows Vista. When I plugged the printer in, a dialog box appeared called “Add New Hardware”. I followed the directions on the screen and the driver was successfully installed. But when I tried to print something, I went to the Print Queue and the document was already queued and has a status of “Printing”. After few seconds, the status went to “Deleting…” and it was gone. And I tried it again and again but the same thing happened every time! How can I use my printer with Windows Vista?

Most HP printers want you to run the disk BEFORE you connect to the printer. I would recommend removing the printer, uninstalling everything printer related that VISTA installed. HP has a page telling you exactly how to install that printer. It isn’t as easy unfotuneately as it should be. Here is a link to that page. They recommend you use the HP 3500 driver it seems in VIsta.

Most printers want you to run the disk first. I would recommend removing the printer drivers, uninstalling everything printer related that Windows installed. Then read the users guide book that came with the printer. Sometimes the book has important steps that you might miss installing the drivers on your own. If this dosen’t help download the printer drivers off the HP web site. Here’s the link. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw...
