My Friend Has A Hp Photosmart 8150 Printer Which Throws 4 Pages With Usb Printed. Help Me Stop It Happening.?
Filed in Deskjet Help Forums on ส.ค..15, 2009
Each time the computer is rebooted the printer will throw for pages with a few characters printed mentioning something about USB. This only happens if the system is rebooted and the printer works refectly normally at all other times. I have tried reinsalling the printer and searching for driver updates but this does not work. The printer is an HP8150 and has a USB connection, it also has input slots for various types of photo cards. Your help will be much apreciated as it is wasting a lot of good paper and is very frustrating

Delete the spool files and restart the spooler and check.
1. Stop the spooler:
a. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, then Services.
b. Scroll down the list of services for Print Spooler.
c. Right click Print Spooler and Stop.
2. Delete the spool files:
a. Click My Computer.
b. Go to C:WINNTsystem32spoolPRINTERS .
c. Delete all of the files inside of this folder.
NOTE: If the spooler is working correctly, this folder should be empty when the computer is not printing.
It normally deletes these files out of this folder after they have been sent to the printer. Deleting
files that are stuck can free up the spooler and allow it to continue normal operation.
3. Restart the spooler:
a. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, then Services
b. Scroll down the list of services for Print Spooler.
c. Right click Print Spooler and Start.

I had a similar problem and I reversed the USB port of my keyboard & printer. It solved it.
I am guessing it is related to boot up order of something.
Try changing you USB devices around and it may help you.

Also, try unplugging the printer and plugging it back in. Be sure you use the “unplug or eject” hardware device on your taskbar.
Good Luck
