Misplaced Cd For Installing Printer Deskjet F380, Tried To Download From Hp But?
by admin on ม.ค..31, 2010, under Deskjet Help Forums
it says the driver downloaded and installed but I cannot find it and I couldn’t install it manually when I tried. What am I doing wrong. Haven’t used this printer on my laptop before so I cannot even do a system restore

The driver should have installed already.
Look for Device Manager in your PC
Click on Printers…..
Update drivers from there (your PC will tell you whether or not you have an updated driver or not)

When you download the file from HP, you have to take note where it loads the files to. Let’s say it loads it to C:HPDJF380
Then you go to add a new printer option and when it prompts you for the driver you select “have disk”. Then for location, select the path where the driver files just loaded (see paragraph 1 above).

Here is your link for drivers and downloads.
while downloading make a note of where it is downloading too. as a minimum you will need all files in the drivers section. Once you have got those running then you can download the optional softwarehttp://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw…

If you have vista, try just plugging in the printer and starting it up… your computer will detect the printer and then ask and look for any missing info… other windows… all I have to say is good luck in finding the disk… but you can also search thru windows explorer and under printer…
