I Need Printer Help Please?

I have a HP Deskjet 9800 and I lost my installation CD to it so I can’t install it on my new computer does anyone know where i can get this installation CD for free or does anyoneone know where i can buy it. (NOT FROM ONLINE THOUGH)

go to hp’s website and under support enter your printer information and download the driver

I’m not sure how to get a replacement instalation disc, but I hear it’s hard to find them. One thing that you can do is find someone with the same printer and/or a printer similar (depending on how similar) and borrows theirs. It’s work just fine. (Better chance of it working if you fins someone with the same printer. YOu only have to use the disk once. So just ask to borrow it… Hopefully I helped. I saw that no one else answered yet. Sorry I couldn’t answer your specific question properly though.

before you load anything from HP and it takes over your computer,try plugging your printer in and see if it works just on the basic drivers and software in your computer
