i need help with my printer hp c3100 my installation was successful but i cannot print anything i do not know if i installed the cartige wrong or if i put the paper in the wrong place. send answer

Your printer may not be set as the default printer. Go to Control Panel and under Printers and Hardware go to printers. Right click the printer if its there (if not there its not installed) make it the default printer and you should be set. Also when printing in a office document, check the printer name at the top. It should be HP c3100
If thats not the issue, make sure the cable with the printer and the computer are attached. Most of the time USB cables are plug and play with printers and it should work without installation. Check if the cartrige and the paper is in the right place to not cause paper jam. And turn it off and on.
Plug and play is the best bet, printers don’t need to be installed anymore.

Make sure it’s the default printer. Go into control panel, click ‘printers’ then check the printer and click ‘set as default’ then you should be able to print.
