   I have a new laptop and an existing HP Photosmart C3180. I downloaded the driver from HP. I also got a Linksys wireless print server and it is SLICK!
   drivers – http://www.hp.com/#Support
   I just got the drivers and not all the photosmart extras.

   Depending on the compatability, you may not need to do anything. My new Acer went right to work with my HP4 n 1. Of course it wasn’t a photo printer, but the software should be available free online. I had no luck even with the purchased HP cd on my HP600 and my last replacement HP with 2.8 processor. Had to buy the printer I have now. The Acer really thrilled me.

   Here is the page you need to start on. There is a list of 5 machines in the 3100 series. Just pck the one you have, and follow directions.
