Hp Psc 2410 Photosmart All-in-one Printer ?

when my printer is out of ink it does not let me use the other functions such as the copier, fax or scanner. does someone have any suggestions on how i can fix this?

Use the windows utilities for fax and scanning. Copying of course doesnt work because that requires a print out.
Get to the scan/fax utilities in control panel.

All the all-in-ones are supposed to work this way. The only fix is to replace your ink cartridges.
