Hp Photosmart C5280 Not Printing Black Colors?

I have a photosmart c5280 all in one printer, but since i bought it it doesn’t seem to print anything that is color black instead letters come out gray and that is when i print them in the highest resolution when i do normal or fast draft some stuff wont even come out, what can i do???

1. Does it do this on the printer test page? (Start | Control Panel | Printers and Faxes. Right Click on the printer | Click on Properties | Test page) Or just in a specific program?
2. Have you checked the program you are trying to print from to make sure:
a. The print preview shows black and not gray.
b. The saturation is set correctly (Printer properties) and not to gray scale.
