Hp Photosmart C5180, Won’t Print?

Ok so im trying to print off my Hp photosmart C5180 its connected directly to my computer, and im on excel. When i hit print, it doesn’t do anything and says the printer is offline.. and i unchecked the box to make it come offline and it just stays like that. Also before all these problems started the printer jammed, so is there something i might have to “reset” before i can print again?

First, power on the unit and unplug the USB cable from the printer.
Do a fresh install and you will re-connect the USB only when the programs tells you to. Let it finish. REBOOT the computer and windows will find the new hardware.
Now , try to reprint and it should work fine.
