this is a common problem with HP printers.
you need to uninstall the drivers for the printer and reinstall them - reboot after uninstall and then turn on the printer, making sure you have ink and paper and it’s on-line reboot again after install. should work.

hey im having the same prob with my hp deskjet F370. It happened twice. All I did was restart the computer (or printer) I cannot remember though. Yeah it keeps saying the printer is offline. It drives me crazy too..
You should probably wait a little longer..perhaps try printing the next day…
