No probs… canon inks are compatible to hp cartridges. they both used the same thermal jet technology. unlike epson that uses piezo electric tech. Connect your cartridges to tubes at half ink level.
hey, I just bought a canon ciss for my hp deskjet since they ran out of hp ciss. I’m a bit skeptical but they told me I can still use it for my printer. Problem is the ink is preinserted and its obviously for canon printers. Will it ruin my printer if I still hook it up using that canon ink? And how to I insert my cartridge? empty with the tubes or half/full cartridge?
I have the same printer, but the ink things are too small and they run out too quickly, and because of the clarity, it uses up more ink, have you ever seen a picyure printed ou with low ink, i’s so unclear you just want to rip it up and through it out at sight. It would be the best printer i ever owned if the ink caused less, it’s so expensive for how little you get.
CISS is awsome because you can print your little heart out but don’t let it sit too long because the ink likes to get back to the resorvoirs if you don’t use it for three weeks.
another is if you have their machine then you dont have choice anymore but to buy their expensive inks. i think thats the reasons why they sell it at a very high price.
However with the CISS technology this high priced inks are no match with the Chinese ink production technology which has the quality of OEM.
its because they sell their machine at a very low rate lower almost lower than the production cost, but they sell their ink cartridges at a very high price for them to compensate the loss they incur with the machine and to finance their very secretive research on their ink technology, and of course to gain more money as well as to waged their company’s researchers, admin and others…
Very impressive! Really fast. However, for people like me who don’t have the space for a CISS, there is another way to get great ink at great prices! SPOT4INK DOT COM. Great prices and great ink to boot. Most cartridges are remanufactured which makes them as green as possible. There are NO SHIPPING COSTS EVER and delivery is fast and efficient. I order all my printer ink from them and have never been disappointed. Ckeck them out today!
for a cheaper solution just buy CISS for epson model (eg. Epson C45, or C59 model) and rip it up to connect it directly with the original cartridges of Hp d4160 printer. Refill inks in bulk is very cheap and you can buy it many ink refill and pc accessories section in many stores.
i really hate how ink is so freakin high, i dont get it why cant it just be cheap i mean its just ink, i got a brother copier/fax/printer/photocopier/scanner
lol, needs new black ink and its like 23 bucks gosh, id hate to see what color costs
