Hp Deskjet 940c Printing Problem?

I just got this laptop from this lady and I can only get it to print orange and yellow. Whatever it prints shows up great but if it’s not black it shows up orange and yellow. Is it running out of color? Or could it be a different problem. I checked properties and everything is set to normal.

Your black cartridge is empty and your colour catridge is out of blue.
replace the black cartridge.
