Hp Deskjet 3845 Has Printed “double” Letter/s Or Number/s On The Left Side?

by admin on ธ.ค..29, 2009, under Deskjet Help Forums

I have printed a document from HP Deskjet 3845 printer on Windows XP Printer Test Page and I noticed that on the right side of paper, there are double letters that is like a shadow. For example: “… you have correctly installed youur HP Deskjet” & “…port settiings.” The text shows that it has an extra ‘u’ or ‘i’ on ‘your’ and ’settings. How to fix it? Any help will be appreciated :)

only thing I can suggest is aligning the print cartridges again (in the software) and running the printer’s cleaning function. If those thing fail to work most likely the printer is having trouble reading the locator strip inside the printer and its getting ready to die… truth be told, thats a fairly old printer and we both know how much money you spent on it… its probably just time to buy a new one (and in the future, might I suggest you buy a higher end model… they tend to last longer, the ink is cheaper (cost per milliliter/page) and they tend to produce better prints)
