A review on a new printer I bought a week ago. I replaced my aging Lexmark printer with this e-All-in-One HP printer. It is an ePrint printer – meaning you can print from anywhere in the world on any email capable device, as long as the printer has a wireless connection, and you can now print from iOS 4.2 or higher devices (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) with Apple’s AirPrint system. It is also a scanner and a copier. I think it is a great little printer for the price – definitely good value for money and packed with features. Also the print quality, like all HP printers, is excellent; photos are clear and text is sharp – great for a small home office or personal use. The only disadvantage to this and the more expensive ePrint Photosmart printers is the lack of ‘Print Apps’. These only print out weather and map directions and stuff and is just a gimmick in my view, as you can do this on a computer just as easily so it isn’t really a big disadvantage. I bought it from Argos (UK) for £49.99 but I have heard you can get it for less than that. To have a look at this printer: h10010.www1.hp.com To buy it: John Lewis (UK – £39) www.johnlewis.com If you live outside of the United Kingdom, just type in HP Deskjet 3050A and see if shopping results come up for your country.
