How To Install Hp Deskjet 5740 To Windows Xp When Hppp Cd File Is Not In My Computer.?

The directions say to 1.click start, click run, then click browse. 2. at top of browse window, click look in dropdown list. 3. click HPPP CD then click open.4.click setup, click open.the setup.exe. appears in the Run dialog box.5. click ok.–The only problum is that my computer does not have anything on it called HPPP so how do I install this with out HPPP?

You have to put the HP cd in first before you follow all the directions.
