Try this HP Link > ,http://search.hp.com/query.html?cc=us&la… select “Software and Driver Downloads” and look for the necesary update for this printer and install it and any other update that applies to your printer and PC even . Check this link about once per month for current updates and keep the PC and Printer completely updated . Save the Link to favorites or Bookmark .
See if the spooler is started and activated if the update(s) do not fix > Navigate > Start/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services . In here you will see the Spooler item you need to check , however I do not know exactly what your printer spooler item is . Ask for Help via Live chat at > http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/cont…

Are you talking about the rollers inside the printer? If it is a program there should be an icon show up at the bottom of the screen showing the printer. Open this icon and find the settings to turn it off. Print Spooler programs are use to print several document and other things in the order of the print Que.
