How Do I Scan An Image On My Multi-function Printer?

I own an HP Photosmart C3180 All-in-one and I’m using a mac. I have placed the image on the surface, and hit the start scan button, but nothing has happened yet. What do I need to do for it to work?

You need to go in the start menu in the HP folder and select the scanning software from there.
Put a picture face down on the glass, power on the scanner. Now start the scanning software. Go in the FILE menu and SELECT SCAN from there. It will power on the light and give you a scan on your monitor. Select 300 dpi form the setup to get good quality scans. That’s it
Press scan and it will work
