How Do I Fix My Printer?

We just refilled the ink and put paper in our printer, and it keeps saying that there’s no ink and no paper–so it won’t let me print anything.
How do I fix it?
It’s a HP Photosmart C1300 printer.

1) make sure everything is in properly
2)Reinstall all printer drivers (or jsut simply unplug your printer power cord, wait 30 sec. and plug back in)
3)if they dont work, contact HP

Seeing as how you stated you refilled the ink, does that mean you bought new cartridges or did you refill the old ones? If you refilled the old ones, then you need to know there’s a chip in the cartridges and that keeps track of the ink level. You need to reset that chip, there are devices out there that will do that, the kits usually come with one.
If they’re new carts then you need to make sure that you removed the tape from the heads and they’re in all the way. They could be bad, or your printer may be bad, I’ve seen both before.

Turn it off and turn it back on and reboot your computer.
If it still will not recognize the ink, take the ink out and put it back in. Be sure to remember to pull the tape off of the ink as it will block the sensor.
For the paper, slide it in snugly. You might feel the paper tap a lever inside.

Did you remove the film from the printer head?
Take the cartridges back out and re install them. Take paper back out and re install it.
Remove the printer from your computer then re install it.
If this does not work, preform an exorcism.

For one thing make sure it is the right ink.
Second make sure your also printing to the right printer, its a common mistake
