How Do I Change Printer Settings On A Mac?
Filed in Deskjet Help Forums on ก.พ..16, 2010
I have an HP Photosmart C3180, and everytime I try to print something it says HP tools has quit, etc etc. Also, everytime I sign onto the computer it asks me to finish installation by picking a printer but there are no printers on the list even though mine is plugged in and working.
In addition, how do I change settings such as printing double sided on my mac? On a PC before you print that box pops up with all the settings but this just prints right away.
HELP PLEASE.

At times HP you will get a glitch when using the printer software and you will need to uninstall and then reinstall
I recommend this procedure for that problem
Add/remove and remove all components for the printer
Now do a complete clean up with the HP level 4 driver removal utility tool
When done, reinstall the software
Also you can not print double sided papwers. You need to print one side, turn the paper over and print the other side. That is why it is grayed out.

Install the printer software from the disc. The printer software is corrupt. Go to Apple Menu, System Preferences, Printer & Fax and Select the printer. Double sided printing has nothing to do the Mac, it’s the printer that has to be capable.

Go into the File Menu. Chose Print.
Choose Add Printer.
Good Luck =]
