How Can I Know My Ink Level If My Printer Is Hp Deskjet D1460?

My printer is an HP F4100 series deskjet. With the printer there was software which installed an “HP Solutions Center” on my desktop. In there, it shows me the approximate ink levels.
Perhaps there is a similar utility that came with your printer. It’s logical to assume that since they have the technology, they’d make it standard. But then logic doesn’t always do it, right?

That software should tell you, and it does come with nearly every HP printer. If you are unable to check it via Solution Center, you may need to locate the “Toolbox” in your start menu under HP.
Also, if you’ve taken your cartridges out or inserted new ones without your computer on and connected, the reading may be extremely inaccurate or may even give you an error.
