Help With Printer/ Ink Cartridge?

okay i have a hp deskjet 3820 printer
i was trying to save money by refilling my old ink instead of buying a brand new one.
:/ i tried to insert it back in and the lights for the ink kept blinking and when i check the ink level the color doesnt even show and the black is still very low. HELP :[ i dont want to waste even more money!

While refilling you cant reset the ink counter. The ink level indication will not be available. But you can still print with the catridge as normal.
