Help? My Printer Isn’t Working.?

by admin on ก.พ..23, 2010, under Deskjet Help Forums

I have a HP Deskjet 3845 and it always used to work, but now whenever I try to print something it says “Out of paper” and I have paper in there. I have no idea what’s wrong.

    First, check the device driver:
To open Device Manager, click Start,
    point to Settings,
    and then click Control Panel.
    Double-click System.
    On the Hardware tab,
    click Device Manager.
Right-cl the item to be checked and select Properties.
You should be told whether or not the item is working properly. You can also update the driver from here.
If this doesn’t help, e-mail HP support. Within the past two weeks I had a problem with my HP. I contacted HP, received a reply in two hours, they suggested a fix, and e-mailed with a follow-up to see if it worked. (It did!)
HP has good support. Try them.

did you check where your paper goes to see if there is anything stuck or blocking the sensor.

There is nothing wrong with the printer.
Just shutdown the printer and then restart the PC and then power up the printer and this will fix your issue.
This is because the print spooler needs to be updated.
    cheers
