Help Me About My Printer Its Offline!!!?

the name of my printer is “HP Deskjet 3940″ so the problem with my printer is that it has got “OFFLINE”, I don’t know by me or by itself….anyways just tell me how to fix it from this problem……?

i had the same problem a few weeks ago
what you have to do is go to start and in the settings portion you’ll see printer and faxes. Click on it and you’ll see all the printers and faxes that are connected. Than right click on your printer and somewhere over there it will say go online.
If it doesn’t work after that than try plugging it in another usb port. Maybe at the back or if it was plugged in at the back, than try plugging it at the front of your computer. It really can be that your usb port doesn’t work or something.
